Tabor and Laura Cowden built The Woodcellar to be the kind of place Evergreen is built around — warm, unpretentious, and genuinely glad you're here.
A Spot On Bergen Parkway
Tucked into Bergen Parkway in the heart of Evergreen, The Woodcellar started with a simple idea: take care of people, feed them well, and give them a reason to come back. Most of our business comes from regulars and the friends they bring through the door.
Food Worth Driving Up The Mountain For
The adult mac and cheese has a reputation that precedes it, and the BBQ nacho plate has started more than a few regulars conversations. Daily specials — Taco Tuesday, Fish Fry Friday, Sunday Funday — give people a reason to visit any day of the week.
Live Music and The Red Rocks Bus
On weekends, the bar becomes Evergreen's liveliest music spot, with local and regional acts guests describe as electric. We also run a Red Rocks Bus so great music never requires a designated driver.
Where Evergreen Gathers
From weddings and graduation parties to celebrations of life, this space has held some of Evergreen's most meaningful moments. We're grateful for every one of them.
